About Me
Experience
With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, I have worked in university counseling centers such as the University of Colorado, Boulder, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and Yale University. My extensive background includes providing support to diverse groups like college students, professionals, academics, artists, and the LGBTQ+ community.
Driven by academic research interests in intersectional feminism, technology, and transgender care, I am committed to delivering compassionate and culturally sensitive therapy. My personal journey as a gay male and nonbinary individual further enriches my understanding of the unique challenges faced by diverse populations.
Training
I bring a wealth of expertise to my practice, having completed a clinical internship in transgender care and a postdoctoral fellowship in diversity and multicultural services at the University of Colorado, Boulder. My specialized training equips me to address the unique needs of women, neurodiverse individuals, and the LGBTQ+ community with sensitivity and insight.
As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional: Level 2 (CCTP-II), I am well-versed in trauma-informed care, ensuring a compassionate and understanding approach to your healing journey.
